Hi Tech Holiday Ideas
In case you missed my latest article in Fairfield County Home Magazine, I recommend some terrific gadgets that will give you peace of mind when it comes to real safety issues with your kids.
1. Internet Traffic Cop- a small device that will turn your computer's internet access off (without your teenagers knowing how). I use it after 9:00 at night when more internet predators are online. TrafficCop.com is $49.99 at Best Buy and CompUSA
2. Wherifone child phone from Wherify Wireless Location Services. This is a GPS locating phone with programmable buttons including voice activation. A great tool when your smaller children are out with other people or field trips. Wherify.com
3. Brick House Security sells small devices that are GPS locators you can place in anything- back packs, cars, other cell phones, briefcases? You get it. BrickHouseSecurity.com
4. Guess what the HOT color is for electronics! You guessed it- Hot Pink- check out the IPOD, IDOG, Motorola RAZR and MP3 players....
5. New Microsoft ZUNE- apples IPOD knock off- got mixed reviews as did new Plat Station 3.
I like CNET.com for online shopping comparisons and ratings...
Happy Shopping....

What a FAB night!
I was recently the host/auctioneer at the Celebrity Chef Event in Westport. Mar Jennings and ran the event to benefit Postive Directions- we raised a large amount of money for a great cause and had a ball in the meantime!
All of the press were there as were some local striving politicians.
Another great event for an even better cause.
Stay tuned for some very exciting times.
